Fun, Easy, and Immediate Reinforcement
Interactive exercises create a learning environment that is engaging and game-like–it’s fun!

How It Works
As children, we gradually learned our first language through a process of associating mental images with words or phrases, accompanied by complete immersion in our environment. This approach was simple because it was natural and allowed the brain to adapt to increasing complexity.
Rosetta Stone recreated this natural way of learning by developing a method that uses a computer to mimic the environment in which we learned our first language. We call this Dynamic Immersion. A simple, intuitive interface and advanced technology confirms learning at every step of the process by prompting you to make connections between images you already understand and the new language. You receive immediate feedback, which helps you to reinforce learning. This systematic structure builds from simple nouns and verbs to more complex concepts and phrases very quickly, helping you achieve your language-learning goals faster than you ever thought possible.

Level 1, 2 & 3–Connect With the World
Connect with the world around you. Build a foundation of fundamental vocabulary and essential language structure. Quickly gain the confidence to enjoy social interactions such as greetings and introductions, travel, dining out, giving and getting directions, shopping and other recreational activities. Learn to share your ideas and opinions, express your feelings and talk about everyday life, your work, your interests, current events, and much more.

From Learning Curve

The Lamaze Gardenbug Wrist Rattle & Footfinder Set of baby toys from Lamaze make excellent gifts. Put the cute garden character socks on baby’s feet and rattles on their wrists and watch as baby learns that by shaking their feet and hands they can make a sound. Made from soft fabric, they are easy and comfortable to wear, with soft velcro-style fastenings on the wrist rattles. The bright patterns and faces develop hand-to-eye coordination skills, and the fun sounds reward exploration. The black and white contrasting colours will help baby’s vision develop in those crucial early months. Machine washable. Each item measures approximately 2″ x 6″.

Customer Reviews
Find your hands, find your toes!
Lamaze have come up with another highly entertaining toy for babies. The two wrists strap each have a bug shaped rattle on. The velcro design of the fixing means that they are very adjustable and will fit baby’s wrists for a long while. My baby enjoys them and I don’t have to worry about him dropping them the whole time. The socks aren’t quite so good. The design is more like a sack, so they don’t stay on baby’s feet well at all; a velcro strap might help in a future design. Again they each have a bug shaped rattle on and they certainly encourage baby to reach for his toes. So 4 stars – the design for the socks could do with a tweak, but a lovely product all the same.

Could be louder!
I bought these for my eight week old son, as he waves his arms and legs around a lot and thought this might entertain him in between his bouts of crying. Also he has a fantastic habit of punching himself in the face and anything attached to his wrist reduces those opportunities and therefore in turn the bouts of crying. The recommended age is for 3 months plus but if you have a baby that waves its arms and legs around and you need something to take their attention for a while then this is it! There are other wrist rattles on the market but this is the only set I have seen that comes with feet as well. As he is a bit young for them and he has skinny arms and legs I put them over his babygro – but with enthusiastic waving/thrashing them come off. He is most impressed currently with the feet (although his feet are a new discovery full stop anyway) but I think this is also to do with the fact that he has had numerous toys attached to his wrists of late (see the issue with face hitting above). The only reason I haven’t given this a five is because the rattle sound is so quiet, I think it needs to be louder as I can barely hear it and it is considerably quieter than any other rattles of this type.

If you want something to distract your little one then this is it…

Okay, but come off easily!
I bought these recently for my three month old daugher. I put them on her feet and they’d come off within a few minutes and they keep doing so! She instantly found them attractive but highly frusrating that after wrigging her feet a few times, she’d fetched them off. The socks are too loose and don’t have enough give in them to make them a snug enough fit. Only recommended if your baby has fat feet!
Find cheap baby clothes at prices you’ll like. Discount baby girl and boy clothes online. Find many deals in our clearance baby clothes section
Having said that, the wrist rattles are fine and she likes those!

Commentaires clients

Tips to Help Your Battery Operated Candles Look Real
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Dawn_Larson]Dawn Larson

Considering the danger, not to mention the hassle of using real tapers or votives to light a room, it’s no wonder so many people are opting for today’s faux version – the battery-operated flameless candle. Looking much like “the real thing,” the more modern battery-operated version features the same look and feel as their traditional counterparts; minus of course, the mess, danger, hassle and expense!

Still, many candle diehards worry that these non-traditional candles won’t offer the same elegance as traditional tapers – especially for more formal affairs. If you’re one of these naysayers, think again. There’s no need to worry that anyone will even notice that your candles are “real.” These candles are so lifelike, most people never even realize that the flame isn’t hot.

Still, there are some precautions you need to take when shopping for good quality battery-operated flameless candles. To ensure that the ones you pick will offer the exact look and feel that you’re after be sure to:

Shop Carefully
Like anything being sold today, there are great flameless candle manufacturers, and those who put profits ahead of quality and service. The best way to ensure that the candles you buy are top-quality, always ask to see one working in the store before purchasing your own. When shopping online, take special care to read reviews carefully (and not just form the company website, but other sources as well), and ask about their refund policy in the event you are not completely satisfied.

With so many options available in today’s battery-operate candles, consumers need to make wise choices to ensure that they are getting the quality they seek. To find a flameless variety that looks like the real thing be sure to look for ones that features:

a wick that mimics the random fluctuating flame of a real fire burning
a subtle glow
a melted wax look
real wax (not plastic)
a realistic scent
a variety of colors and styles

Pick a Style That Fits Your Environment
Battery-operated flameless candles come in all sorts of varieties: tapers, votives, pillars, and more. Choose a style similar to one you would use if pulling out traditional flamed candles. Trying to force a style into your environment will only make your guests wonder why the setting doesn’t look quite right.

Use Candlelight Sparingly
While adding candlelight to any setting adds ambience and beauty to the room, there is a limit to how many candles, not to mention styles and colors can get the job done properly. Creating too much of a centerpiece around your candles will only bring more attention to them. Remember: candles are meant to enhance the setting; not overwhelm it.

Use Other Décor to Accent Your Candles

You don’t have to let your new battery-operated candles stand alone. Add a few decorative touches to enhance their beauty such as:

fresh flowers or twigs
ribbons and fabric
beautiful crystal
and more

The key to using any type of candle properly is to allow you imagination to flow. By eliminating the heat and danger of a using a real flame, you’ll be surprised at how easy it is to use battery-operated candles to decorate with – not to mention fun!
